Last week we had the pleasure of Jim Elliott, the founder of Diveheart, speak at our weekly meeting.  For those of you that are unfamiliar, Diveheart is an organization that helps children, adults, and veterans with Disabilities through the healing effects of Scuba Diving!  Jim & Diveheart have found that Scuba Diving has positive results in calming effects for Autistic individuals, chronic pain management, and the freedom to freely move about for those missing limbs.

I don't have nearly enough time to tell you you the entire story that took this amazing man, inspired by the efforts of a group that taught his blind daughter how to ski, to being on the brink of developing the world's largest indoor pool that will become the center of this type of treatment and future research.  I strongly encourage everyone to visit their website and media kit listed below, and feel free to share it with everyone you know.  It is truly an incredible organization.
