OF Rotary Feeding the Needy

The Rotary club of Oak Forest made possible the delivery of over 7000 pounds of food to Together We Cope in March 2011.  That food will feed over 100 familes of four and is to be distributed directly from the Together We Cope food pantry.  The Rotary's generous support of families in need is an integral part of their continuing committment to "service above self".  Rotarians were there when the food was delivered to help unload the more than 3 tons of food they had delivered. Contiuing contribution to the community is one of Rotary's four avenues of service and that kind of committment is making a difference to families in and around the Oak Forest Community.
