Melanie’s Essay:

“How Can I Apply the Tour-way Test to Life?”

In 1932 a brilliant test was created that everyone should apply in everyday life.  This fantastic test consists of for questions: Is it the truth, is it fair to all concerned, will it build goodwill and better friendships, and will it be beneficial to all concerned.  There are to main occasions where this would really help me my family and friends.

The first occasion were I could have used this and nobody would get mad at each other is on Christmas Eve.  When my cousins: Paige, Dana, and Brian cannot agree on what to do then we should take all ideas and put them together then we can come up with a game fair to all concerned, will help build better friendships and goodwill, and will benefit air concerned.  Later when our parents ask us what we did we should say that we made up a new game.  If we didn't act fair towards each other then a fight over what to do wouldn't happen because the four-way test helped us.

I can also use the four-way test when my friends come over and play monopoly.  If we play the correct way no one will feel left out by people making up fake or artificial rules so they benefit from their greediness and others lose.  If we play correctly then no fights or lost friendships and everyone wouldn't be mad at each other.

I could apply the four-way test when I see my cousins: Brian, Paige, and Dana on Christmas Eve to prevent fighting.  Also I can apply the four-way test when my friends come over and play monopoly.  The four-way test is an important test that can save friendships or even families.
