Rotary Raffle and Silent Auction a Success!!

The club's single largest fund raiser was a tremendous success!
The 2011 Rotary Raffle and Silent Auction has been successfully completed. Rotary of Oak Forest raised thousands to help those in need in our community and around the world!
Contributions came from everyone. To name a few-

John Keane, Silent Auction Founder
Karen Moran, Unpaid Auction Consultant
Dr. Tom Halwax, BIG ticket seller
Jimbo Pauly, Master of Ceremonies, BIG ticket seller and motivator of sales
Dorothy Kennedy, Responsible for the photo booth, raffle accounting, BIG ticket seller
Michele Thornton, Raffle Check in and Evening Bookkeeper
Tom Chunis, Auction Cashier and wrist band distributor
Art Lubinski, Evening photographer
President Tom Duffy from his recovery bed, BIG ticket seller
Every Rotarian who sold a ticket and/or solicited an auction item
Special mention to Colleen Julian and Bernie Kelly who sold a significant number of tickets and joined us for the evening.
Like each of our best events, there was an enormous contribution from every Rotarian. We all bring our special talents to the club and contribute to the good works of the club in our own way. My fellow Rotarians, our coffers have been restored to put "Service Above Self" for one more year.
